Coffee’kie - Uvongo

What a fantastic find! I needed a comfortable space to work for the day, and this coffee shop ticked all the boxes — sturdy tables, comfortable chairs, fast and reliable Wi-Fi, and accessible power outlets to keep my laptop charged. It’s the perfect setup for remote meeting or studying. The coffee is absolutely delicious — smooth, rich, and clearly made with care. I also tried one of their other drinks, and it was just as impressive. On top of that, they offer a great selection of nibbles and light bites — from freshly baked to tasty toasted sandwiches and snacks that hit the spot without interrupting your workflow. What truly makes this place special is the atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly and make everyone feel like part of the family. Whether you’re working solo, catching up with a friend, or just popping in for a quick pick-me-up, you’ll feel genuinely welcome here. Highly recommend — this is my new go-to spot when in Uvongo.

I love this coffee shop. They open at 06:00 and is a treat to stop for a coffee and delicious treat. Yolandi is excellent and her energy is refreshing. Well done keep up the high standard of service.

I have heard a lot of positive things about this little shop. I decided to take a little look at what they had to offer, and was pleasantly surprised. The coffee tastes amazing, is well priced, comes in different sizes and there's a wide variety of coffees to choose from. It doesnt take long at all to make either. They also do little snacks such as cake, biscuits and sandwiches which are affordable and really delicious. Their sarmies are generously filled too. In need of a flask? No problem! They also sell different sizes of flasks (300ml, 500ml and 750ml) at reasonable prices. I recently bought a white 500ml flask and to my surprise, it came with a built-in waterproof thermometer, that is also suncharged. The inside of the flask also has little marks to indicate how full to pour milk, water, etc. I am extremely happy with my new flask, it was worth every penny. The personnel on duty were very friendly and clear. They make sure that their customers are happy and satisfied with their purchase(s) too. I can gladly confirm that Coffeekie is a one of a kind, there is no shop like it and I will gladly come here again.

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with genuine warmth and friendliness. The staff make you feel right at home, and special mention must go to Yolandy, who always goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and looked after. Of course, the real star of the show is the coffee—it’s hands down the best you’ll find on the South Coast. What makes it even better is the consistency: every cup tastes just as good as the last, no matter when you visit. A perfect combination of great people, great service, and truly excellent coffee. Highly recommended!

If you’re looking for a really good cappuccino or milkshake as well as a quick bite to eat. you have found your spot. Their toasties are so delicious, their homemade muffins, biscuits and cakes are so fresh and tasty, the quality of service and supply of refreshments and meals are always consistent. Give them a try.
